What is your most memorable vacation?
My most memorable vacation was when I went on a cruise to Europe. We went to Italy, France, Greece, and Turkey. I have family that lives in Rome so we spent a few days with them before leaving for the cruise. Only one of my cousins spoke English so we had a little difficulty communicating but it worked out for the most part. We visited many cities such as Venice, Naples, Athens, Santorini, Monte Carlo, and Ephesus. My favorite city was definitely Santorini, Greece. It is absolutely breathtaking!! Santorini is built on a volcanic island and the only way to travel is donkey or sky car. Of course my family decided to take the donkeys because the line wasn't as long and it turned out to be the worst experience I've ever had. As we were going up the mountain my donkey decided to turn around and stampede down the mountain instead. I have never been more scared in my entire life! When I finally got to the top it was all worth it because everything about Santorini is beautiful! The water, the buildings, the houses, and churches are literally indescribable! I really enjoyed all the other countries as well, especially Italy. Venice was just as romantic has I've always heard it was. Rome was filled with ruins but I did enjoy seeing the Vatican. I am Catholic so I got to experience the history I've been hearing all my life first hand. This whole experience was unforgettable and I will definitely be going to Italy and Greece again one day!
